Unidentified food sensitivities can contribute to many chronic health conditions, such as irritable bowel syndrome, headaches, eczema, chronic ear infections, gut malabsorption, insomnia, autism, ADD/ADHD, and many others. These food sensitivities differ from food allergies (like a peanut allergy, for example) because they cause symptoms to appear gradually. These foods are also not life-threatening. But when ingested, these seemingly healthy foods are recognized as foreign by the immune system, triggering an immune response that can develop symptoms over time.
Sometimes the foods that we eat most often and that seem healthy are the foods that are causing our health problems. Food sensitivities are difficult to identify because we eat so many different types of foods and our meals are made up of several different ingredients; however, a simple test can help identify these foods. Come learn 1) how this food sensitivity test is performed, 2) why chronic health conditions improve by eliminating these foods from your diet, and 3) how we support your overall gastrointestinal health in the process.
This community lecture is FREE. Attendees will receive a 10% discount on the food sensitivities consultation with any of our naturopathic doctors. The food sensitivities test will be an an additional cost.
