After the age of 30, testosterone levels in men begin to decline at 1.6% per year. But for some men, the decline in testosterone can be a lot more dramatic. Symptoms of low testosterone, such as fatigue, lack of motivation, low sex drive, erectile dysfunction, weight gain, loss of muscle mass, and decreased athletic performance, can all appear in a matter of years.
But why does this happen for some men and not others? The slow and steady decline in testicular function is inevitable, but poor diet and lifestyle choices can cause other changes that can impact health and exacerbate aging in men. These include adrenal fatigue, obesity and rising estrogen, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, blood sugar dysregulation, and vitamin and nutrient deficiencies.
This talk will cover:
1. The role of testosterone in men's health
2. Andropause ("male menopause") and how to properly test for it
3. How to start changing your diet and exercise for better testosterone levels
4. Other health factors that influence testosterone levels
5. Natural options for treating hormonal changes in men
6. The risks and benefits of testosterone replacement therapy
